Stylianos is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Google, where he applies his expertise in 3D computer vision and machine learning. Previously, he held a senior research role at Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. His career path also includes a Research Intern position at Microsoft Corporation in Seattle, WA (2019), and a founding member and Computer Vision Scientist role at Facesoft Ltd., specializing in 3D computer vision tasks. Stylianos holds a PhD from the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, where he was supervised by Dr. Stefanos Zafeiriou. He specialises in the field of 3D Computer Vision, 3D Morphable Models, and Machine Learning. Prior to his doctorate, he pursued an MSc in Computing (specializing in Machine Learning) at Imperial College London in 2015. His educational foundation rests on a Diploma and Master of Industrial Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece (D.U.T.H.), obtained in 2013 with a focus on Industrial Robotics.
